Orósùn is worshipped in the town of Ìdànrè as the chief goddess of the hill of Ìdànrè, Òkè-Ìdànrè. Ìdànrè tradition attributes Orósùn to the deified form of the Yorùbá warrior-queen Mọ́remí Àjàṣorò of Ifẹ̀. Orósùn is regarded as a wife of chief deity of Ìdànrè Ọlọ́fin.
