Help me carry the (Ṣàngó's) double-headed wand.

'The name Bámgbóṣé (is) obviously connected with Ṣàngó, the Yorùbá god of thunder. The association with Ṣàngó is further strengthened by the names given to my father and his elder brother. He was Ṣàngódípẹ̀ while his brother was Ṣàngodèyí. It is interesting to note that wherever the name...is found, either in Yorùbáland or in the Yorùbá Diaspora in Bahia, Brazil, the appellation ascribed to it is the same, i.e. Bámgbóṣé Ọ̀rọ́bìtìkó, "Bámgbóṣé, who rolls in opulence." Obviously, the original bearer of that name must have been a corpulent person!' - Professor Ayọ̀ Bámgbóṣé (From Grace to Grace: An Autobiography).
