Fear has a reputation. [verification needed]

Àwọn àlàyé mìíràn

The given name of my great-great-great grandfather, later known as Àjílúyì Ẹkùn, from Ìlárá-Mọ̀kín, Oǹdó state. Perhaps the use of "fear" in his name is related to the deity he and his family are the custodians of, Ọlọ́fin Ufẹ̀, as they are praised as ọmọ èrù lọ́nọ̀ Ùjàgbà kọ́n m'Ọ́lọ́fin dèrù bani - The ones who are feared on the path to Ùjàgbà (a historic name of Ìlárá-Mọ̀kín), that use Ọlọ́fin to scare people.
