Ò̀kè could mean a mountain, hill...usually to describe an elevation. Its been used to describe the name of places characterized by hills and mountain. Òkè-Olúmọ, Òkè-Ìtòkú and Òkè-Láǹtóró in Abẹ́òkuta. Also, it's come to play the role of prefixes to the names of many praying grounds.
