Ọrẹ̀lúeré was an ancient hunter and warrior of pre-Odùduwà Ifẹ̀ now worshipped as a fertility deity (Ọrẹ̀) in towns in the Ìjẹ̀bú and Èkìtì/Oǹdó regions. Ọrẹ̀ is closely associated with yams, fertility, the harvest, and in some traditions, is believed to control rain. In the town of Ìlárá-Mọ̀kín, Ọrẹ̀ is associated with the beginning of the rainy season.
