Ìpẹ̀ means appeasement or begging as used in "Ẹ bá mi ṣe ìpẹ̀ fún-un" i.e Help me beg or appease him. "Onípẹ̀" means "the one who appeases" or "to appeal" (mostly on behalf of others).
