Alẹ́yẹmí

Fihànká:

Ìtumọọ Alẹ́yẹmí

My old age has befitted me; I have seen great honor in my old age.

Àwọn àlàyé mìíràn

Given to me my great-grandmother in Ikire, present day Osun State; disturbed by the Àbíkú phenomenon before the stay of my grandmother who birthed 3 children (my dad is the first) before she also died. I was born the second to my sister, Iyabo. This growth in lineage was what made my great-grandmother name me Alẹ́yẹmí - thankful for continued procreation and preservation of her lineage.
